Emily Returns to Uganda

Emily has returned to Tororo after a five month furlough in the United States

During her stay in the US, she was able to meet with supporters and visit congregations. Additionally, she attended the FFOZ Shavuot national gaterhing in Hudson, Wisconsin in June.

Emily's visit was fruitful. A sponsorship program was started and we have exciting news about the school building project to share soon.

Pavilion For Sabbath Services and Bible Studies Completed

Last fall ACTS for Messiah was able to build an outdoor pavilion and pit toilets at the facility in Tororo. This has enabled us to host weekly Sabbath services on-site. The services include prayers from the siddur (Jewish prayer book) and a Torah reading.

The pavilion has truly enhanced the Sabbath for the children and has enabled Emily to host neighbors and visiting pastors for the services.

A very big thank you to everyone who contributed to help make construction of the pavilion and pit toilets possible. It has been a great blessing for us and may God bless you for your support and prayers!
